cryopreservation General
cryopreservation can be used in humans for example, to sperm cells in plants and in animal cells, ova and embryos . The storage takes place in cryobanks . The conserved cells are thus obtained over a long period in a kind of rigid cold, come in all metabolism almost to a standstill. After thawing, the cells can take up their normal physiological processes again.
