in, my story
Here is the introduction to my story;
I am 11.3.2008 received from my urologist to diagnose testicular cancer. By Selbsttastung I found this.
On 04/02/2008 you sent me away to the right testicle, since it has a three-part mixed tumor contained, which was partly malignant.
Fortunately no metastases in the abdomen and thorax.
On 05/13/2008, I left to chemotherapy, this found in 2 cycles instead of stationary in KKH.
then I wanted my sperm, preserved before chemotherapy, due to the upcoming chemotherapy, the chances are very high that I remain infertile.
This confirmed my doctors treated.
The waiting time after the chemotherapy is, according to doctors at least 5 years.
Later came new numbers, like 2 years, 3 years. Because otherwise
malformations and other will or may occur.
I myself have a deformity, a double cleft lip and cleft palate column that has existed since birth.
Operationally, everything was handled in the years 1980-1999.
I have no great Restrictions because of that.
hereditary then I'm probably already pre-loaded, or could it be.
I read about it, how the costs and noted that this is definitely too high to me. I understand the effort and costs put back there.
then I also moved soon sick pay, no sick pay because the employer has taken place anymore. And I could cover my running costs so with the degree of sickness benefit.
I turned to my health insurance, beginning May 2008. Fast facts
refused me the insurance, the reimbursement of cryopreservation.
The reason the insurance company (AOK) on 05/05/2008 was as follows;
Unfortunately we can not assume the cost of cryopreservation.
"Through the freezing and storing sperm is treated, whether a disease or disease symptoms can be alleviated or saved from worsening. This was confirmed by a ruling by the Federal Social Court, 26.6.1990."
