The Communists and the opposition to power: the KKE and the role of China

Dear Professor Losurdo,

I was able to appreciate the story of China written by her during a recent trip to this country. At the same time I observe with great interest and the advance estimate of the Greek Communist Party (KKE) in the Hellenic political landscape, able to win consensus is very important.

From what I know, China actively participates in the "rehabilitation" Hellenic through a series of public investment: in particular China and Greece are working together to build the commercial port of Piraeus, the largest distribution center and transit between Asia and Europe. In fact the company is China's Cosco Pacific, one of the largest in the world, which has been granted, after much labor disputes Greek. That the Greeks have assumed positions of ultra-ideological dogmatism? It is legitimate to ask whether the interests of the working class Chinese are very different from those of the proletarians of the world?

DL I share the appreciation for the Greek Communist Party. A suo tempo Mao Zedong ha richiamato l’attenzione su una questione centrale: non si può confondere la politica estera di un Partito comunista al potere con la linea politica di un Partito comunista all’opposizione, diversamente non si comprende nulla della storia del movimento comunista, oppure si riduce questa storia a una sequela interminabile di tradimenti: Non c’è Partito comunista al potere che non abbia agreements and compromises with this or that country, with this or that political force, but this is not binding on minamente a revolutionary force in opposition.

The document attached to the message of the PCG Janosch laments the fact that the Chinese Communist Party wants to establish relations with the Socialist International. I think that the eventual success of this inizitiva would greatly benefit the cause of the fight against the dangers of war fueled by U.S., but not for that I'm going to join the Socialist International on the contrary I feel committed to the reconstruction of Italy a genuine communist party.
