The Bild newspaper reported today that many companies in this year, no, or only very limited offer summer jobs for students. According to BA's Werner Gaier from Stuttgart, the number of summer jobs, compared to the previous year decreased by 75%. The main reason is called the short Gaier work the company required to initially employ their own workers to check out fully before external work in the company. (Source: tabloid, 04:08:09 )
particularly in eastern Germany, the situation appears to be very tense. The Federal Employment Agency has received no requests for this summer of companies in this part of Germany.
What about because of the Job Cafe? Well, it certainly can not be denied that the holiday season is a rather quiet time. However, we must say that quite a lot of companies come to us looking for rental agencies, eg at the reception, in production or in the Secretariat. Of course it is also true that to get a summer job more than one candidate und wir bisher nicht für jeden Interessenten ein passendes Angebot vorliegen hatten. Aber einen Einbruch an Anfragen von bis 75% können wir, im Vergleich zum Vorjahr, nicht feststellen und wir gehen davon aus, dass wir Euch auch weiterhin über den Rest des Sommers mit vielen interessanten Stellenangeboten versorgen können.
